This facility is a well-established hospital serving the Dothan community and surrounding areas. The facility features a 12-bed department with comprehensive cardiovascular surgical services and provides excellent support for its advanced practice providers working alongside surgical teams.

Board Certification Eligible - Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

Job Details:
• Support an employed cardiovascular surgeon with daily rounding on post-operative inpatients (2-3 hours per day)
• Assist in regularly scheduled and emergency surgical procedures
• Endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH) is the primary surgical procedural skill needed (Terumo system used)
• Provide 24-hour beeper call coverage with minimum 30-minute response time
• No clinic/office hours required - call coverage only
• Surgical experience required, RNFA preferred
• Coverage needed specifically for October 17-27, 7a-7a
• Patient volume: 3-5 encounters per shift
• Must have active Alabama license or IMLC
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Estimated credentialing timeframe: 30 days

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.

Estimated Hourly Rate: $90 - $130
