Minnesota Legislature to Consider Full Practice Authority for NPs

Just weeks after the Minnesota Health Care Reform Task Force called for MN to update practice laws for NPs, the state legislature is planning to review a bill to grant patients full and direct access to all NP services. HF 435 adopts the language of the NCSBN Model Practice Act and removes the requirement for physician involvement in NP prescribing. Read the full bill here.
