HB 9 Passes Floor Unanimously
HB 9 to allow NPs and PAs to sign certificates of involuntary examination passed the House Floor this week. The vote was unanimous. HB 9 was filed by Representative Daphne Campbell RN. The bill has passed all three committees and the floor with unanimous votes. Upon passage, the house broke out into applause and cheers. The companion bill SB110 filed by Anitere Flores waits to be placed on the agenda in the Senate Children, Families, and Elder Committee. Senator Sobel is the chair of that committee.
