Dear

Any meaningful reform of Medicaid needs to include utilizing Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners as primary care providers.

This strategy is in keeping with the conservative ideals of smaller government, less government involvement in business enterprise and seeking non-governmental ways to increase patient access to care.

This strategy has saved other states greater then twenty percent on their overall Medicaid costs, and Senator Bennett testified that it had the potential of saving our state upwards of 2 billion dollars.

Numerous studies and supporting testimony given during Senator Haridopolis' health care tour, prove Nurse Practitioners play a key role in increasing access to care while delivering safe high quality care while reducing costs.

During this special session, I urge you to consider the value of including Nurse Practitioners in Medicaid reforms to function at their maximum ability.

Sincerely,

Together we can do this. Please forward to friends and family and ask them to help us increase access to care for All Floridians.
