Rep Daphne Campbell RN was able to pass HB 1195 Baker act bill through the first committee of reference with a unanimous vote. 

It has also been filed by Senator Gary Siplin as SB1750and is now in the Senate in the Health Regulation Committee. 

Please email and call Senator Garcia, Chair of Senate Health Regulation Committee. Ask him to agenda the Bill

Please agenda SB 1750. This bill will allow ARNPs to issue a certificate of involuntary commitment and protect patients who are suicidal and homicidal.
