HB 1195 Not Placed on Calendar in Senate. Bill Runs Out of Time

Although Representative Campbell RN and Senator Siplin were promised by Senators Gaetz and Sobel that they would make sure HB 1195 was on the special order calendar for a vote on the last day of session, it did not happen. 

Representative Campbell was very disheartened that this happened. She worked tirelessly to get this bill passed through the house and she wanted to see it pass through the senate. She wishes to thank everyone who called and emailed the house and senate members to support this bill. "It makes a difference when constituents email and call" she said. 

Representative Campbell RN vows to reintroduce this very good bill next year. It is wonderful having an RN who is a legislator advocating for us. All members of the legislature are up for re-election this year.
