From CAPN : Tallahassee Area CAPN Member Interview to be Broadcast (8/2/12) on WFSU 88.9 FM

Interview with our very own Elizabeth Markovich will be aired on 88.9 WFSU-FM, on Thursday, August 2, at 6:30 pm!!

 It is a show featuring the new rules for pain prescriptions in the state of Florida. The head of the state organization for pain management physicians and a representative from the attorney general's office will also be on the show.

This is what Elizabeth said, “I had called about an earlier report they did because our clinic has a few patients who have had long term pain problems but cannot now get any pain medicines - we can't do it because our doctor is not on the pain doctor registry (required if prescribing pain medication beyond a three-month period) and the pain specialists won't take them, etc. These are people who have never had any problems with abuse.”
