About the preceptor Rogelio is looking for:

Located near TX San Antonio.

Good day! I am looking for a clinical site for A-State Universitys' DNP (General Practice) an outline from their programs orientation is copied below. Thank you for your time. I can sumbit a work or school resume if requested.
Choose a Project Site - During your first Core Course (Leadership, Policy, and Healthcare Systems NURS 8123) you should choose and receive approval for your chosen project site. If you are able, start the conversation now with your chosen site.

A DNP project site is a healthcare setting where Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) students implement their final projects. These projects are designed to translate evidence-based research into practice, aiming to improve healthcare outcomes. This can be done through Quality Improvement projects, Program Evaluations, or Policy change projects.

Examples of DNP project sites include hospitals, clinics, community health centers, and other healthcare facilities where students can work on their projects under the guidance of a preceptor and faculty mentor. The site should support the student's project goals and provide the necessary resources and patient population for the project.

DNP Examples of Project Sites
Acceptable Sites
Academic setting such as community college, university, or other schools of nursing
Staff Development program in a clinical setting such as a hospital or other clinical facility
Administrative Staff in a clinical setting such as a hospital or other clinical facility
Unacceptable Sites
Sites that put a student at risk

Willingness - The Practice Partner is willing and able to commit to the role for the practicum experience.
Employment - The Practice Partner is employed at the location where the practicum takes place.
